• Jenise Morgan ’07: “Ok, I'm biased because I work for his publisher.. but I am re-reading Joseph O'Neill's magnificent and stunning Netherland. It draws a portrait of New York that natives, transplants and newcomers alike can relate to. I'll also check out Drown, by Junot Diaz, and Dreaming Up America by Russell Banks.”
• Margaret Fuller Stahl ’97 is reading People of the Book by Geraldine Brooks and re-reading What to Expect When You Are Expecting
• Melinda Rice ’04: Autonauts of the Cosmoroute: A Timeless Voyage from Paris to Marseille by Julio Cortázar and Carol Dunlop
• Steffi Krasnow Schamess ’58: “I want to recommend Nice to Come Home To, by Rebecca Flowers -- my daughter-in-law and wife of Andrew Schamess ’86. It's her first novel, and a very good read. The target audience is women between the ages of 25-40, but my book club, which consists of mostly women in their late 60's and early 70's, (many of us with Ph.D's), read it and loved it.
